Seven Kentucky racetracks apply for sports betting licenses
Sedum Kentucky race tracks have submitted applications for sports betting licenses. The tracks, including Churchill Downs, Keeneland, and Turfway Park, hope to offer sports betting in their venues. The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission will review the applications before granting licenses. If approved, these race tracks could potentially expand their revenue streams and attract a wider range of customers. The move comes after the legalization of sports betting in Kentucky earlier this year. The state hopes that this new form of gambling will boost the horse racing industry and bring in additional economic benefits.
